No. GNews API is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google. Our Top Headlines endpoint follows Google News rankings to decide which stories are leading, but the service, the infrastructure and the support are entirely our own.

Because scraping breaks. Layouts change, requests get blocked, articles need deduplicating and normalising, and none of it is legally comfortable. GNews API gives you a stable, documented contract instead: one API key, two endpoints, consistent JSON, and article content already extracted and cleaned.
